چکیده
Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks provide guarantees on quality of service (QoS) by rst determining the availability of the required network resources and then reserving these resources for the duration of the application call. The Call Admission Control (CAC) component of the network is responsible for these functions. This paper is concerned with the calculation of bandwidth requirements for traac traces obtained from measurements taken from a wide area ATM testbed network. Two kinds of traces are considered: IP applications traac and jittered constant bit rate traac streams that have traversed multiple switching hops of the network. The actual bandwidth requirements are computed using simulation and then compared with the equivalent bandwidth theory for on-oo sources.

A brief history of 'pixel'
The term pixel, for picture element, was first published in two different SPIE Proceedings in 1965, in articles by Fred C. Billingsley of Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The alternative pel was published by William F. Schreiber of MIT in the Proceedings of the IEEE in 1967. Both pixel and pel were propagated within the image processing and video coding field for more than a decade before t...
متن کاملThe place of the Principle of Proceedings within a reasonable time in the criminal proceedings
Observing a reasonable deadline throughout the criminal investigation process, as one of the most fundamental defensive rights of the accused, emphasizes the importance of reasonable expediting in the process of proceedings in a high degree of accuracy, which considers necessary for the fair trial and the desired outcome of criminal proceedings. Delivering justice within a reasonable time is on...

With the development of information and communication technology, the need for the plaintiffs and the use of paper has decreased in the process of proceedings, but this type of trial has many legal and executive challenges. The present research in purpose view, applied and in terms of methodology is descriptive-analytic which seeks to analyze the legal and enforcement challenges of electronic j...
متن کاملElectrical stimulation of peripheral nerves induces optical responses via skeletal muscle kinematics.
We have previously reported an optical response in human subjects occurring at 100 ms following electrical stimulation of peripheral nerves. In the present study, an animal model has been created to directly investigate the myogenic components of the signal. In addition, experiments have been performed in human subjects to investigate the signal's neuroanatomical specificity, sensitivity to mus...
